Unscreen uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to block apps. You must grant Screen Time authorization during onboarding. If you previously denied it, go to iOS Settings → Screen Time → App Limits or reinstall the app to trigger the permission prompt again.
Screen Time APIs require a physical iPhone. The app will build and launch on a simulator, but app blocking features are only functional on a real device.
Go to Me → Data → Delete Account. This removes your profile and authentication data from our backend. Local data can be erased separately with Me → Data → Delete App Data.
Unscreen reads step counts from Apple HealthKit only when you start a walking task. Health data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to our servers.
If you enabled face-down mode, the timer pauses automatically when you pick up your phone. Put the phone face-down to resume.
